Anyone understand what the Mustache of Understanding® means when he says this?
The first rule of holes is when you’re in one, stop digging. When you’re in three, bring a lot of shovels.
What am I missing? The moral of today’s mustache dripping seems to be:
When things are bad try to make them better. When they’re really bad, try to make them a lot worse.
Have I got that right?
When you are in hole, stop digging (don’t make things worse). If you are in three – start filling them, bring lots of shovels. That’s the only way to get out of a serious trouble.
I was searching the Net myself for an answer. The piece is translated and published on the Russian site http://www.inosmi.ru and the “humor” is totally lost in translation.
People are concerned for Mr.Friedman’s sanity.
